In 2018, Hewad Mohmand joined our team as an Account Manager. He is now responsible for the overall operation of our office in Eindhoven as Head of Sales Netherlands. Discover some of the reasons why Hewad enjoys working for Microtron.

“I think the biggest advantage is the structure within the company. Microtron is a very level organisation. Every employee, in every position, has a voice. “At Microtron, we are always focused on the latest and most innovative IT solutions for our customers. Our working environment and equipment are designed to support this. For example, we always have the latest computers, iPads, mobile phones, etc. 

In addition, our office in Eindhoven has a brand-new, modern design. I really like working at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. There are a lot of (international) companies working in the same location, and we have everything we need within easy reach: a supermarket, restaurants, a gym, sports fields, walking routes, a conference hall, …”

“Our team has a very friendly atmosphere. We always try to have a nice lunch together. We regularly organise fun team-building events, such as participating in a triathlon, the Hercules Trophy or a karaoke night. On Friday afternoons we organise our 'Solution Friday'. This is where an employee can give a presentation on potential improvements that could be made within the company. And to properly mark the start of the weekend, we all go out for drinks together on Fridays.”   

A healthy balance

“Another advantage of having Microtron as an employer is the flexibility and personal approach. Everyone in our team has different commitments. I have two sons who I sometimes have to take to football practice, which means I have to leave early on some days. They take your personal situation into account and there is always somewhere to go if you have problems. People are really at the heart of the company.”

I myself have attended many product training courses from suppliers, as well as courses designed to support my personal development, such as communication and sales training.”
